đź’Ł What is the X Factor For Unibot?

PYTH airdrop | BRC-20s | Uma on a roll

A weekly recap of the largest crypto events and narratives, with an extra dose of insight.

Here’s what we have for you:

  • Sam Altman AI woes

  • PYTH airdrop, VRTX token, BLUR announcement

  • BRC-20s

  • Unibot releases Unibot X

  • Chainflip TGE

  • Uma on a roll

GM Raiders. New week. Same old narratives. On the back of Sam Altman getting removed from OpenAI by the board of directors, AI is back in the limelight. Worldcoin briefly traded down as Sam Altman got fired, but then proceeded to rip up by 30% as news leaked that the board of directors wanted Sam Altman back. It seems like we need decentralised AI more than ever, so projects like $AKT, $RNDR, $IMGNAI should continue to pump.

For those that want to prepare themselves for today, it’s a busy day. On the list, we have the PYTH airdrop going live, the VRTX token going live, and a big announcement from BLUR. I expect PYTH to do well given that the oracle space has been searching for a challenger for a long time, and even though VRTX’s current FDV doesn’t look too appealing at $300M+ after the LBA, I like its long term prospects.

Sigh, we’re really doing this again. Alright, it’s Bitcoin, or more specifically, BRC-20 season. ORDI, a BRC-20 token is up more than 8x over the past month. BRC-20s is Bitcoin’s version of ERC-20 tokens, however, it is safe to say that almost every BRC-20 is a shit coin.

In fact, things are so crazy that the Bitcoin network brought in more transaction revenue than Ethereum. Looking at volume, we can see that activity has took off immensely, almost reaching 2x the previous high. OKX’s BRC-20 marketplace is leading the charge this time, dominating more than 80% of transaction volume. F in the chat for those that can’t make a OKX account.

Unibot Releases Unibot X

  • Unibot has released its next evolution. Moving on from its roots as a telegram chatbot, Unibot has released Unibot X, a full fledged standalone trading terminal. This is just another step in Unibot’s path to CEX parity.

  • The trading terminal is in alpha release mode right now, but exciting features include upgraded limit orders that take advantage of an aggregation engine, and ten days with zero trading fees.

Chainflip TGE

  • Chainflip is a game changing native cross-chain AMM. Sound like Thorchain? It is, but better. With 150 independent validators, cross-chain swaps have never been as secure. Its novel Just-In-Time liquidity solution ensures the best swap execution for traders.

  • Their TGE will take place on November 23rd, with some tokens being pre-distributed to the foundation, exchanges, Coinlist, and market makers.

Across and oSnap

  • If you’ve been farming LayerZero this whole time, what are you even doing? You should have been using Across bridge, which often provides the best bridge execution. The bridge has seen growing adoption, with daily bridge volume steadily rising from ~$5M a few months ago to ~$15M today.

  • UMA Protocol, the team behind Across, has another product, oSnap. It provides gasless snapshot voting with onchain execution. We all know how much of a headache governance is, and oSnap makes it much simpler. Traction there has also been impressive, with the number of deployments 10x’ing in a little over half a year.

Welcome our AI overloards

You better believe that it is an AI x crypto super cycle. Trust me when I say that we are only in the early innings of AI. The world has barely begun to analyse and utilise AI en-masse, and there is so much more adoption and development to come.

There are a few areas where AI is poised to thrive. The first is decentralised systems for AI. That can include decentralised storage to store AI models, decentralised computer power so anybody can train their own AI model without buying a $10K Nvidia graphics card, decentralised co-processors so that anybody can verify the output of an AI model, and decentralised identity, so that we don’t have to live in a world where for every one user there is on a social platform, there are ten bot accounts controlled by AI.

There’s a million ways to play the AI narrative, but imo, the best token is one that lies at the intersection of multiple narratives. For example, DePIN and AI might be a strong contender. In that case, you might want to look at a token such as Akash, who’s daily spend has 2.5x’d in less than three days.

Lessons learned in crypto as you prepare for the next cylce

A little bit of decentralised AI alpha

Orca currently getting feedback to turn on a fee switch. We all know what happens when fee switches get turned on.

A list of airdrops you should probably be farming. I like the Solana ones just cause there’s so much less people there.

Notable narratives for next cycle

Some interesting fundraises, and projects you should take a look at.

dYdX insurance fund getting rekt. More perp DEX worries? Protocol solvency and prevention mechanisms is likely something you should pay close attention to. Market manipulation is rampant.
