Gm Raiders. I know we’re not exactly macro experts, so I leave it to CT to tell me what is happening because they’re all totally macro experts. On Wednesday’s FOMC meeting, Jerome Powell gave a pretty dovish speech, which means that the market things rate cuts are happening much sooner/bigger than we all anticipated. This is good as rate cuts means liquidity goes up and risk assets like crypto pump.
In other news, we got a pretty big scare today as Ledger’s Connect Kit was compromised for a good few hours. Any dApp that used a connect kit to allow users to connect through a ledger was compromised. So basically, everything. We still have a long way to go before self-custody becomes a viable option for all.

BONK
I can’t really ignore the fact that BONK is up 100% on the day. It managed to rocket past a $1B mcap and currently sits at a comfy $1.6B. Looks like the Solana ecosystem wealth effect is truly in play, especially with the Coinbase and Binance listing of BONK.
Will the trend continue for BONK or other dog based memecoins on Solana? I’m not sure to be honest. Frankly, it does feel kinda like a local top and the market needs to cool down for a bit. But knowing crypto, long term I expect BONK to be much much higher.
Starknet snapshot?
Next week, Starknet is taking a big step towards decentralisation. the network is asking devs to migrate to a feeder gateway alternative. On December 19, 2023, the feeder gateway will be turned off.
Startknet is introducing full nodes, which presumably will require some tokens in order to come to consensus. So is it airdrop time? We’ll find out soon.
Ubisoft NFT mint
On December 18th, Ubisoft, the massive gaming studio behind titles such as Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed, will be having a mint for their NFTs. The 8,000 NFTs will be free to mint.
Considering the size of Unisoft and that they are one of the largest gaming studios out there, this could be a fantastic play. And the NFTs look pretty cool too.
World ID 2.0
World ID 2.0 is Worldcoin’s shiniest object. The new upgrade will introduce Apps, a new way to build and use integrations to verify online accounts using World ID. I genuinely believe that Worldcoin and its decentralised identity solution has a crucial role to play in the future.
Using this new standard, the community has developed World ID Apps integrations for Reddit, Discord, Minecraft, Shopify, Mercado Libre, and Telegram.
