I know we’ve been talking about Solana a lot recently, but they have been seriously impressive. For example, Solana has recently flipped Ethereum and Arbitrum together in 7 day DEX volume, think about how crazy that is for a second.

In other news, EigenLayer has crossed $1B in TVL, and it is safe to say that restaking/liquid-restaking-tokens will be one of the largest narratives in crypto for 2024. It’s still not too late to deposit into EigenLayer if you want to. Deposit caps have not been filled yet.

Metaplex - NFT king on Solana

Have you heard of Metaplex before? Let me tell you why they’re so important.

Metaplex facilitates 99.9% of all NFT mints on Solana. Just stop and think about how crazy that is for a second. If there was a protocol that facilitates 99.9% of all NFT mints on Ethereum, pretty sure you would buy that without a second’s hesitation.

Well, they even have a token too. $MPLX. They’ve already made $1.1M in December and are showing no signs of slowing down.

Grass - the decentralised oracle for AI

• Grass is a DePIN project that utilises your IP address to collect data from various websites. By using your IP address, they are able to get different “views” of the website, and then use that data to train sophisticated AI models.

• They call themselves, the oracle for decentralised AI. Web data scraping is a crucial chokepoint in training well performing models, and so Grass solves a genuine problem. Oh, they have a points program.

ZKFair - The first truly community owned L2

• ZKFair is a rollup built using the Polygon CDK. How does it differ from everything else out there? Well, for starters, the gas token is USDC instead of ETH.

• The radically different component comes in for the token distribution. 100% of the supply will be airdropped to users over the next few days, and even excess gas fees will be paid to stakers and developers.
