Gm Raiders. It’s been a busy couple of days from the TradFi side of things. Notably, OKX announced that it will be launching its own L2 using the Polygon CDK. This is in comparison to Coinbase which launched Base using the OP stack. Another large announcement, JPM and Apollo Global have been working with the Monetary Authority of Singapore on Project Guardian. Using LayerZero and Avalanche subnets, they tried out a process to vastly simply the fund subscription and redemption process.

One ecosystem that has been gaining a significant amount of attention is Avalanche. Gaming tokens there are going vertical. One outperformer is Shrapnel $SHRAP, whose graphics look unbelievably clean. DEXs on Avalanche are also seeing an incredible amount of volume, reaching a yearly high.

Intents

What are intents? The nerd definition is “a set of declarative constraints which allow a user to outsource transaction creation to a third party without relinquishing full control to the transacting party.” But that’s VC nerd speak.

For the more retail degens like us, intents are basically you tell a protocol you want something done, such as buy ETH at a price of $2000, and it’ll figure out a way to execute that for you.

IntentX is an entire protocol based on that idea. Upshot Machine Intelligence Network

• Upshot has announced a decentralised AI network optimised for financial applications. It brings together ML models and incentivises them to optimise for an underlying objective, such as maximising the sharpe ratio of a portfolio of assets.

• Network participants are rewarded based on how much alpha they provide, and a zkPredictor generates ZK proofs to verify that predictions were made by the AI model in a tamper-proof way.

Alephium bridge goes live

• Alephium has the solution for secure and efficient cross-chain transfers. Sophistication in design, simplicity in experience. That is the name of the game for the bridge based on a fork of Wormhole. Oh, their iOS app just went live!

• Guardians, contracts, and messages all work together to verify transactions cross-chain. That’s not all! Alephium has a thriving ecosystem, including NFT marketplaces, DEXs, raffles, and more!

PancakeSwap Gaming Marketplace

• PancakeSwap has released a gaming marketplace. It features games such as Pancake Protectors & Pancake Mayors, all games in line with the DEXs branding.
  

• Pancake Protectors has attracted over 25,000 daily players at its peak, and thus the gaming marketplace is a promising development. Devs can design games and bring them to life on PancakeSwap.
